Returns & Refund Policy
At The Hairy Universe, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing physical books and other printed materials from our website.
Your Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us within the 14-day cancellation period by contacting:

Once you have informed us of your decision, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Conditions for Returns
Returned items must:

be in their original condition;

be complete and undamaged;

show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the item as you would in a physical shop.
Please package returned items carefully to avoid damage during transit.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
We recommend using a tracked postal service, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by us.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned items, we will process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods (or after receiving evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever is earlier).
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Original standard delivery charges will also be refunded where required by law. However, any additional charges for premium or expedited delivery services are not refundable.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or supplied in error, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights. This may include a replacement, repair (where appropriate) or a full refund, and we will reimburse any reasonable return postage costs.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
Your statutory right to cancel does not apply to certain goods, including:

personalised or custom-made printed items;

sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken (where applicable);

digital downloads or other digital content once supply has begun with your express consent and acknowledgement that your cancellation right is lost.
